Ugh. Yes, I'm hereSince my blog is quite dead, I decided to revive it before I totally forget about this BLOG
I only have complaints for this post cause Im super STRESSED out over the stupid art homework!
I mean, seriously! I dont even know WHAT she wants from us! AND, there may be an art sova tomorrow. yes, TOMORROW And that's why Im freaking out so if you'll excuse me, I'm off to revise. Ugh, I dont know why I feel so annoyed and pissed. and NO, its not because Im pms-ing. =.= I just feel disappointed. *sigh* Why can't I be like other people? :(

Peter 'Pen' ??
I found out today that the theme for my dance performance is called Peter pen..
Yes.. I dont get it either. But, anyway. shrug I may be changing dance schools next year because my mom wants me to go to some other school. *shrugs, again*
I have no idea what to write because there's no inspiration floating in my space as it is filled with the laughter and LOUD TALKING of the adults. There are people here and according to my mom, more are coming. *yipeee.........*
Can't you see the EXCITEMENT in my writing...? -.-

Um, yeah.. Happy birthday blogger.. Hmm. At least, I think its blogger's birthday. Cause there's that cake thingy next to its logo.
I just felt like posting but I dont know about what.. maybe you guys could read the previous posts that I posted. shurgs shoulders. they Kinda make up for this short post cause the other two are really long. (excluding the post quoting stephanie)

SAVE THE SEALS
I was checking my email before making breakfast and I saw an email from my best friend showing me the CRUELTY of Norway and Canada!
Let me explain, (yes, I looked it up.. its true)
Norway and Canada have a new kind of tourism... KILLING BABY SEALS. They call it a 'sport'..
 YOU CALL THIS A SPORT?!
Read this part of the article I found on the internet on this cruelty...
We were just informed of the 2008 quota for seal hunting in Canada and Greenland. 275,000 seals will be killed this year, compared to the 270,000 killed in 2007. When will it end? Nothing has changed… In fact, the quota has increased! It's baffling. The Canadian government has taken the advice of a group of international veterinarians who recommend a method meant to kill seals without cruelty, in three steps:
1. Club the animal, or slug it in the head.
2. Feel the animal's skull, or verify the existence of a corneal reflex.
3. Bleed the animal before skinning it.
Isn't it paradoxical to hear of a speech made by a Canadian official that affirms that seal hunting is practiced without cruelty, while an international group of veterinarians recommends a new method of hunting "without cruelty, in three steps"?
If you didnt understand that paragraph in bold up there, let me explain.. They are saying that it is kinda 'ironic' that a speech made by a Canadian official, assures people that seal hunting is done without cruelty. and also, that an international group of veterinarians (Vets) recommend a new method of hunting "without cruelty" in three steps.
In the first place, those 3 steps sound pretty cruel to me.. and secondly, WTH ARE THE VETS NOT OBJECTING TO THIS ANIMAL ABUSE?! And they call themselves VETS. and to make it worse, it was said by the INTERNATIONAL group of vets.. -.- |
This is stupid.. Its unfair! Well, think about it. Even if you're not a seal lover, dosent it hurt you to see them being just hit on the head as a sport?! I dont want to post all the disgusting pictures on my blog. If you care, YOU go and look at it yourself. (Hmm, that sounded weird.) Yeah so, Im sure it'll make you feel at least A BIT angry inside.
Hopefully, Norway and Canada will realise that it is barbaric to be doing this. How would they like it if I went up to them and started beating them on the head with some thingy and call it a SPORT?!
And something else I have to add, if you're not against this or if you ARE part of this, there's only one word to describe you as...
STUPID.
And we didnt have to go through tests to figure that out, eh?

How do YOU see it?
Which way do YOU see the dancer turning? Clockwise? or Counter-clockwise? (counter-clockwise can also be known as anti-clockwise to some)
If you see it going clockwise, means you use more of the right side of your brain and if you see it going counter-clockwise then you use more of the left side of your brain :)
Just in case you dont know, the right side of your brain is the creative side and the left side of your brain is the more logical side :)
You can actually try to focus and see if you can make it go clockwise AND counter-clockwise
According to the article, if you can switch the direction that the dancer is turning in mere seconds, you are a GENIUS. And if it take you a while, it dosent mean you're not smart.. its just that you're not a genius :) But seriously, who would wanna be a genius? The world would be boring if you knew EVERYTHING
It took me a while to be able to switch it but in the end, I managed to make it turn in different directions! hehe! It took me about.. 2mins? :(

Ooh. and when I first saw it, I saw the dancer turn clockwise although most people see it turning counter-clockwise. Hmmm.. :)
